Voltage driven by 12V power supply, wide output constant current range


When the power supply voltage of 5V drive system is not consistent, or because of the use of long power cord, the power supply voltage of driver chip is insufficient to work in constant current output state, and the brightness of LED is inconsistent. The 12V drive scheme solves this problem. A larger power supply voltage margin will ensure that the driver chip works in a constant current output state. The brightness of the LED does not change with the fluctuation of the power supply voltage, and the display consistency is good.


Series structure bead drive, driving current is only 1/3 of parallel bead drive.


Because the current of 12V single-point drive scheme is only 1/3 of 5V scheme and the power supply voltage attenuation is only 1/3 of 5V scheme, a single power supply connection can bring more LED lights and reduce the installation workload. At the same time, the low current drive scheme keeps the original brightness of the LED so that the heat of the power line is only 1/9 of the 5V scheme. It greatly reduces the heat of the system in the face of the high-density application scheme, improves the reliability of the product and avoids potential safety hazards.

As can be seen from the figure below, no matter using breakpoint continual transmission or DMX512 signal driving mode, 12V single-point single-control scheme can easily realize single power interface driving 300 LED pixels, the installation of engineering power supply becomes simple, and the brightness consistency of LED will be better.
